⚠️ Before you start

This will erase all data (photos, apps, contacts).

Make sure the phone has at least 50% battery.

If possible, remove your Google account first to avoid FRP (Factory Reset Protection) lock.
đ§ Method 1: Hard Reset using buttons (Recovery Mode)

Turn OFF the phone completely.

Press and hold:

Volume Up + Home + Power buttons together
-
When the Samsung logo appears, release all buttons.
-
You’ll enter Recovery Mode.

Use Volume buttons to navigate and Power button to select:

Select “Wipe data / factory reset”
-
Choose “Yes” to confirm.
-
After reset completes, select “Reboot system now”
⚙️ Method 2: Reset from Settings (if phone is working)

Go to Settings
-
Tap General Management
-
Select Reset
-
Tap Factory Data Reset
-
Scroll down and tap Reset → Delete All
đ After reset
-
The phone will restart like new.
-
You’ll need to sign in with your Google account again.
